Doha: Ghala Al-Assaf, of the Kuwait national team, secured the bronze medal in the 59+ kg female juniors' event at the Fifth Qatar Taekwondo Open Championships 2025. According to Kuwait News Agency, Ahmad Al-Mutarir from Al-Nasr SC also earned a bronze in the U-57 kg male juniors' event under the clubs category. The championship, organized by the Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation, is taking place from November 14 to 17 at Lusail Hall, Doha. The event has attracted 1,361 participants, which includes 1,021 athletes and 289 administrative staff. These participants represent 175 clubs and national teams from 48 countries.
