Kuwaiti Assistant FM Affirms Strength, Depth of Ties with Thailand

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asian Affairs, Ambassador Sameeh Hayat, commended the strong ties and mutual respect between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Thailand. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his participation in the Embassy of Thailand's celebration of the National Day, Ambassador Hayat highlighted the robust political, economic, and trade relations between the two nations. According to Kuwait News Agency, Ambassador Hayat noted that approximately 100,000 Kuwaitis visit Thailand annually for tourism and medical services, underscoring the significance of the bilateral relationship. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargé d'Affaires of the Thai Embassy, also spoke about the cooperation between Thailand and Kuwait in various sectors, including trade, investment, tourism, and education. She emphasized that both countries are exploring new avenues for partnership across a wide range of domains.
