Kuwait city: President of Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, met with Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), and chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025, with a focus on cooperation and the development of technical partnerships in the civil aviation sector.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions emphasized regional cooperation and experience sharing, particularly between Kuwait and the UAE. The meeting aimed to align with the objectives of PACA strategies and to support the upcoming operation of the new building of Kuwait International Airport. Sheikh Humoud Al-Sabah also applauded the organization of the airshow and acknowledged the significant deals made during the event.
Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum expressed his welcome to the Kuwaiti delegation, highlighting the strong relations between the two nations, especially in civil aviation. The Dubai Airshow 2025, themed "The Future Is Here," hosted over 1,500 exhibitors and 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 countries.
