Manama: Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, engaged in discussions with Bahrain's Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan Al-Noaimi, on enhancing media and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting took place at the Ministry's headquarters, where Dr. Ramzan Al-Noaimi welcomed Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi during his visit to Bahrain. The ministers affirmed the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, emphasizing the importance of such cooperation, which is rooted in historical ties and supported by both nations' leaderships.
The discussions highlighted the need for exchanging expertise to develop joint media initiatives and strengthen media presence regionally and internationally. The ministers also addressed mutual interests, media landscape developments, challenges, and the importance of coordinated Gulf media efforts in response to sector transformations.
During the visit, the ministers and accompanying officials toured the Ministry of Information complex, including the National Contact Center, News Center's main studio, and Bahrain Radio building. Minister Al-Mutairi expressed gratitude for the hospitality and praised Bahrain's media sector development and its efforts to enhance Gulf media cooperation.
Minister Al-Mutairi acknowledged Bahrain's progress in media and the collective efforts to meet the aspirations of Gulf Cooperation Council member states.
