Kuwait city: A plane carrying 40 tons of relief aid material departed Kuwait on Monday, heading to Sudan as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts. The flight is part of the "Kuwait By Your Side" campaign, a coordinated initiative involving several Kuwaiti charities and government bodies.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Khamed Al-Maqamis affirmed that the relief aid campaign aligns with the leadership's directives to support those in need in Sudan. He noted that Kuwait is working closely with the Sudanese Red Crescent to ensure that the much-needed aid is distributed effectively to those in need.
The official emphasized Kuwait's ongoing commitment to providing assistance to people in Sudan and elsewhere, reflecting the country's longstanding humanitarian legacy.
