The overwhelming support Kuwaiti youngsters have been given by the country’s political leaders has been largely instrumental in their success, a minister said on Monday.
The remarks by Information Minister and State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi came after his meeting with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahamd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He cited the recent impressive performances by a trio of Kuwaiti athletes on the global stage as a case in point, saying the backing from the country’s leaders is the motivation they need to strive for greater achievements
