Kuwait Youth Body Chief: Culture Conf. Strengthens Arab Unity

Kuwait City: Acting Director of the Youth Public Authority, Nasser Al-Sheikh, affirmed that the Cultural, Art and Literature Conference hosted by Kuwait aims to strengthen Arab cultural unity. This statement was made during Al-Sheikh's speech at the opening ceremony of the conference, held under the patronage of Minister of Information, Culture, and State Minister for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Sheikh highlighted that the conference, which includes participants from GCC countries, Jordan, and Morocco, seeks to open new avenues for Arab dialogue while promoting cultural unity based on human and creative values. The event spans three days and features dialogue sessions, discussion panels, interactive workshops, and seminars.

Al-Sheikh emphasized that this cultural gathering serves as a platform for elite creative talents from the Gulf, Jordan, and Morocco to exchange experiences and visions, contributing to the shaping of a shared creative future. He noted that the conference is a significant milestone reflecting Kuwait's leadership in promoting arts, culture, and literature, and expressed pride in Kuwait's selection as the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025.

Furthermore, Al-Sheikh conveyed Minister Al-Mutairi's greetings to all participating delegations, stressing the Youth Public Authority's commitment to supporting young creative talents in these fields. The opening ceremony saw the attendance of Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the GCC Joint Programme Production Institution, along with other senior cultural officials.
