Kuwait Welcomes Ceasefire Agreement Between India and Pakistan

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its approval of the ceasefire agreement reached by India and Pakistan, expressing hopes that it would contribute to restoring security and stability in the region.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi inaugurated the 20th edition of the Arab Media Forum. The event is a significant platform for discussions on media-related issues within the Arab world.

In Manama, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to Syria's stability, independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He highlighted the importance of these factors in achieving peace and security and fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people.

Meanwhile, in Islamabad, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, expressed gratitude towards international partners for supporting efforts to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan. This support played a crucial role in reaching the recent ceasefire agreement.

In Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the situation in the Middle East, advocating for a two-state solution as the pathway to a just and lasting peace. He also warned about the worsening humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing aid blockade.
