Kuwait City: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the recent assaults targeting two refugee camps, Zamzam and Abu Shorouk, located in the Sudanese city of El Fasher. The ministry called for an immediate cessation of violence and emphasized the need for protection of civilians in conflict zones. According to Kuwait News Agency, Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi is scheduled to arrive in Kuwait on Monday for a state visit. During this visit, President Al-Sisi is expected to hold official talks with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional issues. In another development, Kuwait's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya engaged in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi. The meeting focused on the demarcation of maritime borders beyond the 162 mark, a key issue for both neighboring countries. The forum aims to address human trafficking challenges and strengthen international cooperation in combating this global issue. In Gaza, the ongoing conflict has led to significant infrastructure damage, with 36 hospitals being put out of service due to Israeli airstrikes, according to the Gaza government media office. Additionally, the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital suffered extensive damage following bombing by the Israeli occupation army, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region. In Riyadh, US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright revealed plans for his country to sign an agreement on the peaceful usage of nuclear energy and its civilian technologic al applications, marking a significant step in international energy cooperation.
