Kuwait University Launches Second Edition of “People’s Day” Forum

Kuwait City: Kuwait University (KU) opened the second edition of the "People's Day" Forum in Sabah Al-Salem University City on Saturday, drawing representatives from 25 countries from different continents.

According to Kuwait News Agency, in a keynote speech addressing the event, Dr. Jassem Al-Hamdan, Acting Dean of Student Affairs at Kuwait University, emphasized that this annual forum reflects the university's vision of fostering cultural interaction among various world nations. He welcomed ambassadors and embassy representatives in Kuwait to the event.

Dr. Al-Hamdan stated that the forum aims to share knowledge and information about people's habits, customs, and traditions to deepen humanitarian relations and promote intercultural togetherness. He highlighted Kuwait University's commitment to enhancing cultural diversity and academic collaboration by offering scholarships, student exchange programs, and establishing agreements with global universities and academic institutions.

The university official also expressed dedication to creating an educational environment enriched with diversity, enabling students to expand their intellectual horizons and support international education principles in the fields of research and education.
