Kuwait city: Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Tareq Al-Bannai, emphasized the significance of empowering youth to create fair and sustainable societies. He highlighted that investing in young people equates to investing in the future.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Bannai spoke at the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha. He stated that discussions about youth are centered around hope, potential, and the essential energy that propels societies. While praising the creativity and bravery of young people globally, he pointed out that numerous barriers still exist, particularly in education and employment, affecting women, people with disabilities, and those living in poverty or conflict.
Al-Bannai underscored that investing in youth involves promoting dignity, fairness, and inclusion.
