Casablanca: The Kuwaiti national table tennis team has achieved significant success at the 2025 Arab National Teams Championship, currently being held in Casablanca, Morocco. The team secured one gold medal and four bronze medals in the team category, showcasing their skills and dedication. According to Kuwait News Agency, the U-11 gold medal was won by the talented trio of Sheikha Al-Ali, Haya Abdullah, and Al-Joud Al-Sanawi. The national team also demonstrated their prowess by earning four bronze medals across various age groups. Meshaan Al-Mansouri and Osama Al-Kandari clinched bronze in the Under-11 doubles, while Rayan Al-Eidan and Maryam Al-Helwaji took bronze in the U-17 doubles. In the U-19 team category, Abdullah Al-Haddad, Fahad Al-Shammari, and Meshal Falhan secured bronze, alongside Maryam Baron and Jana Abdullah in the general doubles category. The Kuwaiti delegation is aiming to continue its impressive performance as the singles competitions commence, with participation from top-ranked players throughout the Arab world. This championship is a crucial platform for the development of table tennis within the Arab region and is viewed as a stepping stone for future international events. Organized by the Arab Table Tennis Federation in collaboration with the Royal Moroccan Table Tennis Federation, the tournament is scheduled from September 12 to 18 in Casablanca. It features the participation of 300 male and female players from 14 countries, including Kuwait, who are represented by some of their most skilled athletes.
