Doha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Kuwait's approval of the Doha Framework for the Peace Agreement signed between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Congo River Alliance (M23 Movement).
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ministry commended Qatar's diplomatic efforts in facilitating the agreement and expressed hope that both parties would adhere to the deal's terms. The Ministry emphasized that this agreement could enhance stability, peace, security, and development in the DRC specifically, and across Africa more broadly. Kuwait reiterated its commitment to dialogue and diplomatic solutions as means to resolve conflicts and disputes.
