Kuwait Supports Global Oil Market Stability With OPEC+ Efforts

Kuwait city: Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi reaffirmed Kuwait's full support for OPEC+ efforts aimed at enhancing the stability of international oil markets. Al-Roumi led the Kuwaiti delegation in a meeting involving eight OPEC+ countries, conducted via video conference on July 5, 2025, as stated by the Ministry of Oil.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting focused on the eight OPEC+ countries that are involved in voluntary production cuts. They agreed to increase output by 548,000 barrels per day starting in August 2025. The Kuwaiti delegation included Kuwait's Governor at OPEC, Mohammed Al-Shatti, and the country's National Representative to OPEC, Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah.
