Kuwait City: Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani praised the outcomes of the 45th GCC Summit, hosted by Kuwait on Sunday, highlighting the alignment of the results with the aspirations of the Gulf peoples for integration. The GCC leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhance solidarity and cooperation in various areas as a pathway toward unity among the GCC member countries, he noted in a press release. According to Kuwait News Agency, the leaders expressed their dedication to elevating the status of GCC member countries as influential players in regional and international affairs. They emphasized the importance of being effective partners in efforts related to peacemaking and stabilization. Additionally, the GCC leaders renewed their support for fair Arab causes, particularly the Palestine issue, underscoring the necessity of resolving tensions and disputes through peaceful means. The leaders also expressed their intent to deepen strategic partnerships with friendly countries and regional b locs to promote security, stability, and prosperity across the Middle East. Dr. Al-Zayani noted that Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad's participation in the summit, on behalf of King Hamad bin Isa, signifies Bahrain's steadfast support for GCC integration and unity under the King's wise leadership. Dr. Al-Zayani conveyed his gratitude to the State of Kuwait, led by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, for the hospitality and meticulous organization of the summit meeting. He also extended thanks to GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi and the GCC Secretariat staff for their efforts in preparing for the summit.
