Kuwait city: President of the Kuwait Sports for All Federation, Faisal Al-Maqseed, announced on Saturday the postponement of Kuwait Sports Day due to adverse weather conditions affecting the country.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Maqseed stated that the decision was made following reports from the Meteorological Department indicating weather fluctuations that could affect the safe and smooth conduct of the event. He emphasized the organizing committee's commitment to ensuring the safety of participants and protecting public property.
Al-Maqseed highlighted that Kuwait Sports Day is a significant national event aimed at raising awareness of the importance of sports and physical activity in society. He noted that the postponement is intended to ensure the event occurs under conditions that allow its objectives to be fully achieved while providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
He added that a new date for Kuwait Sports Day will be announced later through official channels and various media outlets once weather conditions stabilize.
