Kuwait city: Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila discussed preparations for hosting the 11th meeting of GCC Ministers of Social and Development Affairs, scheduled to take place from September 1-14.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the minister emphasized that hosting this meeting provides an opportunity to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise among GCC member states on social and developmental issues. Dr. Al-Huwaila affirmed Kuwait's commitment to providing all necessary resources to ensure the event's success and achieve its objectives.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, along with representatives from the Public Authority for Manpower and the Civil Service Commission. Discussions included a review of the work plan and timeline for logistical, technical, and organizational preparations, ensuring the event is conducted in a manner that reflects Kuwait's status and role in supporting joint GCC efforts in social and developmental areas.
