Kuwait Signs MoU with France on Civil Aviation Cooperation

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Director General of Civil Aviation of the French Republic in Paris. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two countries in the field of civil aviation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, emphasized that volunteer work is an integral part of Kuwait's national identity and a deeply rooted tradition in society. This statement was made in observance of International Volunteer Day, which is marked annually on December 5.

Foreign ministers from Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and the UAE have expressed concern over recent statements by the Israeli occupation. These statements involved plans to reopen the Rafah border crossing from one direction, potentially forcing Palestinian residents to leave the Gaza Strip for Egypt.

Kuwait's equestrian team achieved a commendable second place, securing the silver medal at the Asian Show Jumping Championship in Thailand. The competition began two days ago and will continue until next Sunday.

In Beirut, Kuwait's national team champions earned one gold medal and two bronze medals at the Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship, held at the Fouad Chehab Sports Complex in Jounieh, north of Beirut.
