Washington: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the United States, along with Kuwait's Ministry of Information, is participating in the 12th annual Winter International Exhibition currently taking place in Washington. This participation highlights Kuwait's commitment to showcasing its rich cultural heritage and fostering international cultural exchanges.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwait's Ambassador to the US, Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, emphasized the importance of engaging in such cultural activities, as they play a crucial role in highlighting Kuwait's image on the international stage. She praised the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information for its efforts in presenting this honorable image globally.
Kuwait's involvement in the exhibition is part of a broader presence of Arab embassies at the event, under the umbrella of the Arab League's mission in Washington. The aim is to emphasize the cultural and historical depth of Arab countries and to build cultural bridges with nations around the world. The Kuwait pavilion features an array of books, a video, and publications that showcase the country's heritage.
The Ministry's delegation includes researchers Sheikha Madhawi Mubarak Al-Sabah and Abdulmohsen Al-Baddah, who wore traditional Kuwaiti attire while representing the ministry. Madhawi highlighted the ministry's commitment to participating in the exhibition to promote the country's national identity. Al-Baddah expressed the ministry's satisfaction in collaborating with the Kuwait Embassy in Washington, reaffirming Kuwait's role in enhancing media and cultural communication with partners in the US and globally.
