Kuwait Shooting Club Training Program Identifies Young Talent, Teaches Skills

Kuwait city: The Kuwait Shooting Club's training program is making significant strides in identifying young talent and imparting shooting skills to the youth, as affirmed by Club President Duaij Al-Otaibi. Over 1,000 young participants have enrolled in the two-month course, which covers Olympic shooting disciplines such as shotgun, rifle, and archery. According to Kuwait News Agency, the training program, held in cooperation with the Public Authority for Sport, takes place at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex and is overseen by coaches of international repute. Al-Otaibi highlighted that this initiative is part of the club's efforts to expand the sport's presence in Kuwait and engage the youth during the summer break. Al-Otaibi expressed gratitude towards the Public Authority for Sport, especially its Acting Director General Bashar Abdullah, for their support in ensuring the program's success. He also commended the participants for their promising performance and dedication, expressing optim ism about the future of shooting in Kuwait. In addition to the training program, Al-Otaibi mentioned that the national team members are continuing their regular training in preparation for upcoming international competitions. He concluded by expressing appreciation for the support from Kuwait's leadership, which has been instrumental in the club's endeavors.
