Kuwait Sends 22nd Relief Aid Plane to Syria with 10 Tons of Foodstuff

Kuwait City: The 22nd relief aid plane to Syria, carrying 10 tons of foodstuff, departed Kuwait as part of the "Kuwait by Your Side" campaign. The departure was coordinated by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), several state ministries, and the Kuwait air force.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Chairman of KRCS, Ambassador Khaled Al-Maqamis, stated that the relief aid campaign would continue to flow toward Syria in line with the Kuwaiti leadership's guidelines and Kuwait's commitment to supporting the Syrian people. He stated that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent would be receiving the relief aid for distribution.

Ambassador Al-Maqamis emphasized KRCS's commitment to assisting the people of Syria, expressing gratitude to all entities participating in this humanitarian effort. This marks the seventh campaign in which KRCS is participating, with the overall volume of relief aid reaching 591 tons so far.
