Linfen: The Kuwait Shooting Sports Club (KSSC) announced on Thursday that the Kuwaiti team participating in the Asian Shooting Championship won three medals-two gold and one bronze-in Linfen, China.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Head of the Kuwaiti delegation Daij Al-Otaibi stated that champion shooter Mansour Al-Rashidi secured first place and the gold medal in the individual skeet shooting competition. In the same event, shooter Abdulaziz Al-Saad clinched third place and the bronze medal.
Al-Otaibi further added that the Kuwaiti team, composed of shooters Mansour Al-Rashidi, Abdulaziz Al-Saad, and Abdulaziz Al-Faihan, triumphed in the team skeet competition. They won the gold medal, surpassing the Chinese team, which took silver, and the Qatari team, which claimed the bronze.
Al-Otaibi expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Kuwaiti team and conveyed his aspirations for winning more medals in future championships for Kuwaiti shooting sports.
