Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Shooting Team achieved significant success by securing five medals in the men and women’s trap shooting competitions at the Kuwait Asian Shooting Championship. The event is being held at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kuwaiti shooters displayed remarkable performance in both categories. In the men’s trap shooting competition, Abdulrahman Al-Faihan clinched the gold medal, Talal Al-Rashidi took home the silver, and Khalid Al-Mudhaf earned the bronze medal.
In the women’s competition, Sarah Al-Hawal emerged victorious with a gold medal, while Shahad Al-Hawal secured the silver medal. The performance highlighted Kuwait’s strength in the sport.
Kuwait Shooting Federation President Duaij Al-Otaibi expressed satisfaction with the team’s achievements, emphasizing the importance of maintaining and improving their level to secure spots in upcoming Olympic tournaments.
The championship is set to continue with the men and women’s skeet sh
ooting events scheduled for tomorrow.
