Kuwait City: The Kuwait Sports Club (SC) emerged victorious in the 2024-2025 Zain Premier League on Sunday, securing the championship by defeating Al-Arabi 2-1 in the final match of the season. The decisive game took place at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Arabi initially took the lead with a goal scored by Kanil Al-Aswad. However, the dynamics of the match shifted following a red card issued to an Al-Arabi player. Kuwait SC capitalized on this advantage, orchestrating a comeback with goals from Mohammed Daham and Mohammed Marhoun, securing their triumph.
This victory marks Kuwait SC’s 20th league title, reinforcing their position as the most successful club in the league’s history. Their nearest rivals, Qadsia SC and Al-Arabi SC, each hold 17 titles. Meanwhile, Kazma and Salmiya have both secured the championship four times, with Al-Jahra having won it once.
