Kuwait Resumes Donations and Funding for Charitable Projects with Governance Assurance

Kuwait City: A government committee has instructed the resumption of donations and funding for charitable projects both within Kuwait and abroad, with assurances aimed at guaranteeing governance and transparency, as stated by the Interior Ministry.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the decision was made during the fifth meeting of the committee responsible for restructuring efforts of humanitarian and charitable organizations in Kuwait. This meeting was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah.

The Interior Ministry's statement highlighted that the gathering of government entities aims to enhance the efforts of charitable organizations to align with international standards. Discussions during the meeting emphasized ensuring that financial transactions related to charity adhere to international rules and regulations, guaranteeing that humanitarian aid and donations reach their intended recipients.

This initiative also enables donors to track their financial contributions, ensuring that their donations fulfill the intended objectives.
