Kuwait reports 30 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Monday said that 30 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in 24 hours, taking the total to 413,327.

No deaths were listed in the same period, keeping the death toll at 2,465, the Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA. The total recoveries rose by 15 to 410,610, he added. There are 252 patients receiving treatment at hospitals, in addition to five others at covid-19 wards, he noted. He affirmed that there is no any case at Covid-19 ICUs.

Medical swabs conducted over the same period reached 21,682 increasing the total tests to 5,310,741, he stated.

Meanwhile, the ministry said that 31 infections and 20 recoveries were listed on Sunday, with no deaths. It added that 20,806 medical tests were conducted in the same day.
