Kuwait City: Attorney General Counselor Saad Al-Safran has mandated that the investigation into the Ya Hala Kuwait Shopping Festival raffle remain confidential, issuing a ban on the publication of any related information.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Public Prosecution revealed that a report from the Ministry of Interior's security services indicated potential tampering with the festival raffle. The case involves serious crimes such as forgery, bribery, embezzlement, and money laundering. The decision to maintain confidentiality stems from concerns that media coverage could impede the investigation and harm individuals involved before any formal convictions are made.
The Public Prosecution has warned that legal action will be pursued against those who violate the prohibition on publishing information about the case. They assured that findings will be shared with the media upon the completion of the investigation.
