Kuwait city: The Public Prosecution announced that the legal duration for executing court verdicts has been set at three months, effective from the notice of judgment enforcement.
According to Kuwait News Agency, this legal measure has been implemented under the decree-into-law 87/2025, which amends the repeated provision 58 of law 31/1970, aiming to modify certain articles of the penal code. The three-month duration is deemed sufficient for all competent authorities to execute court verdicts, as confirmed by the general prosecution in a statement.
The Public Prosecution also warned that failure to adhere to the set duration is subject to punitive measures and interrogation. The statement emphasized the importance of complying with the established timeline to ensure effective enforcement of court rulings.
