Kuwait Police Seize 200 Kg of Meth Coming from Asian Country

Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has announced the seizure of approximately 200 kg of meth and vitamin, with a value exceeding KD 1.5 million (about USD 4.8 million), from an Asian suspect. This significant operation was conducted as part of the efforts spearheaded by First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to combat drug trafficking within the country.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the General Department of Narcotics Control successfully acted on precise information, which led to the arrest of the suspect in Al-Raqqa. It was discovered that the drugs were concealed in this area. Further investigations uncovered that the suspect had rented vehicles for the purpose of distribution and storage, following instructions received from abroad.

This confiscation is one of the largest that Kuwait has experienced. The Ministry of Interior has expressed its commitment to continuing its campaigns against narcotics trafficking to safeguard the society.
