Kuwait PM Welcomes Japanese Foreign Minister for Strategic Cooperation Talks


Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace on Monday. The meeting was held in conjunction with the second Japan-GCC Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Cooperation Meeting, in which Minister Iwaya is participating.



According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening bilateral ties and exchanging perspectives on topics of mutual interest. The meeting underscores the commitment of both countries to enhancing cooperation in various domains.



Present at the meeting were Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Head of His Highness the Prime Minister’s Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, and Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Hayat. Their presence highlighted the importance of the discussions and the ongoing collaboration between Kuwait and Japan.
