Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received on Tuesday at Bayan Palace Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdulatif Al-Meshari, who presented His Highness with newly-assigned Municipality Director General Manal Al-Asfour.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting marked the formal introduction of Manal Al-Asfour as the new Director General of the Municipality. The appointment is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the administrative operations within the Municipality.
Al-Asfour's new role is expected to focus on overseeing the implementation of municipal policies, ensuring the provision of essential services, and addressing urban planning challenges.
