Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences on Tuesday to Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, over the passing of Head of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars and Grand Mufti of the Kingdom Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Sheikh Ahmad expressed his sympathy and solace to King Salman and the Saudi people during this time of mourning. The Prime Minister acknowledged the significant role Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh had played in the religious and scholarly community of Saudi Arabia.
The passing of the Grand Mufti marks a notable moment for both Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the close ties and mutual respect between the two neighboring countries.
