Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations on Friday to President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the German Unity Day.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the message from the Kuwaiti Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the occasion and extended warm wishes to the German President and the people of Germany. German Unity Day is celebrated annually on October 3 and marks the reunification of Germany in 1990.
