Kuwait PM Chairs Meeting on Waste Tire Management and Public Cleaning Contracts

Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired a meeting at Bayan Palace to review a plan for handling damaged and used tires, in the presence of Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdulatif Al-Mashari. The meeting focused on strategies for managing tire waste and enhancing public cleaning contracts.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting discussed plans by relevant authorities to utilize the waste through coordination between Kuwait Municipality, the Environment Public Authority, and the Public Authority for Industry. The focus was on recycling, environmental protection, and creating new revenue streams for the state budget. The discussions aimed at optimizing the use of waste tires to benefit the economy and environment.

The meeting also reviewed the execution of new public cleaning contracts. The objective was to ensure higher levels of public hygiene and to safeguard public interest. These contracts are expected to improve the cleanliness standards in public spaces across Kuwait.

Diwan of the Prime Minister's Chairman Abdulaziz Dakhil Al-Dakhil attended the meeting, along with senior officials from Kuwait Municipality and other relevant authorities. Their presence underscored the importance of collaboration among different governmental bodies in addressing these issues.
