Kuwait PM Chairs Meeting on Key Development Projects

Kuwait city: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah chaired the 47th ministerial committee meeting at Bayan Palace to follow up on the implementation of major development projects. The meeting focused on the latest reports from government bodies concerning key projects such as Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port, the electricity sector, renewable energy, green waste recycling systems, housing, environmental infrastructure for wastewater, free zones, economic zones, and desertification combat efforts.

According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah instructed committee members to review current plans, prioritize project implementation, and adopt programs supporting sustainable economic development. The meeting also included a detailed explanation from a government delegation focused on afforestation and combating desertification. They presented a visual report and proposed solutions and technologies after field visits to areas requiring land reclamation.

Attendees included several ministers such as Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, and others from various governmental sectors, reflecting the multi-faceted approach to Kuwait's development initiatives.
