Kuwait PM Arrives in UAE for World Governments Summit 2026

Dubai: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah arrived in the United Arab Emirates, leading the Kuwait delegation to the World Governments Summit (WGS 2026) in Dubai. He was greeted by UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs Abdul-Rahman Bin Mohammad Al-Owais. Also present were Kuwait Ambassador to the UAE Dr. Matar Hamed Al-Niadi and Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Khaled Abdulrahim Al-Zaghaby.

According to Kuwait News Agency, in press remarks upon his arrival, His Highness the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the government summit as a platform for decision makers globally to exchange views on common issues and explore new avenues for cooperation. He expressed gratitude to the UAE for hosting the "UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever" week to celebrate the strong and longstanding relationship between the two nations.
