Kuwait City: The price of Kuwaiti oil increased by 17 cents, reaching USD 71.11 per barrel on Tuesday, up from USD 70.94 per barrel on Monday, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation on Wednesday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the global oil market also witnessed an upward trend, with Brent crude and West Texas Intermediate experiencing rises of USD 1.18 and USD 1.23, respectively. Brent crude settled at USD 67.44 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate reached USD 64.32 per barrel.
