Kuwait city: The price of Kuwaiti oil experienced a slight decrease, settling at USD 57.04 per barrel on Thursday, a minor drop of one cent from the previous day's price of USD 57.05, as announced by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, while the Kuwaiti oil price saw a decline, global oil markets experienced an increase. The price of Brent crude rose by USD 2.03, reaching USD 61.99 per barrel. Similarly, the West Texas Intermediate saw an increase of USD 1.77, bringing its price to USD 57.76 per barrel.
