Kuwait National Fund Prioritizes Tourism and Technology Initiatives

Kuwait city: Director General of the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprise Development (NFSME), Basma Al-Jassim, confirmed on Sunday the fund's commitment to supporting Kuwaiti initiatives, with a particular focus on the tourism and technology sectors. According to Kuwait News Agency, this announcement was made during the preparatory meeting for the fund's delegation participating in the upcoming Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan, which was attended by entrepreneurs set to participate in the event. Al-Jassim emphasized the fund's dedication to supporting entrepreneurs on international platforms and underlined the importance of showcasing the support Kuwait provides to its entrepreneurs, particularly at the Expo. Al-Jassim further stated that two technological projects have been selected to participate in the exhibition in collaboration with the Ministry of Information. This initiative is in line with the "New Kuwait 2035" vision. The National Fund was established under law No. 98 of 2013 to support small and medium enterprises, with the aim of creating new jobs in non-oil sectors and enabling entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into real and sustainable projects.
