Kuwait Municipality issues permits for 48 election campaign HQs

Kuwait Municipality announced on Wednesday issuing 48 licenses for candidates campaign headquarters for the 2023 National Assembly elections.

In a press statement, the Municipality’s Public Relations Department said that 22 headquarters were licensed in the Capital, 18 in Hawalli, three in Ahmadi and five in Farwaniya.

The Municipality added that 20 advertisement banners were removed as they violated the law and two warnings were issued in Khaitan, Rehab and Fridous.

The Municipality called on all candidates to abide to the law in order to avoid fines, adding that inspectors continue their field tours to monitor advertisement violations and immediately removing them.
