Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait is closely monitoring all efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability and enhancing the prospects for peace in the sisterly Republic of Yemen, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement Thursday. The Ministry emphasized the importance of regional and international efforts to create conditions conducive to de-escalation and initiate a political process to address challenges in Yemen, preserving its unity and sovereignty while aiming to end the suffering of its people and fulfill their aspirations for a secure and stable future. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry also expressed Kuwait's support for regional efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. These efforts focus on upholding the ceasefire and advancing the political process towards a comprehensive and sustainable solution in Yemen. The State of Kuwait reiterated its commitment to supporting endeavors aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
