Kuwait City: Kuwait's Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila held a meeting with the ministry's undersecretaries to discuss current developments and review the country's strategic stock of basic materials.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting addressed the readiness of the ministry's sectors in managing current and potential challenges and examined ways to enhance the efficiency of institutional responses in various scenarios.
Al-Huwaila emphasized during the meeting the significance of improving coordination between the ministry's sectors and adopting proactive action plans. These plans aim to support the social protection system and increase its readiness to adapt to changes, the press release noted.
The meeting also included a thorough review of technical reports related to the strategic stock and an examination of future planning mechanisms. This is part of the ministry's commitment to enhancing stability and keeping pace with rapid developments, it pointed out.
