Kuwait city: Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, inaugurated the "KLand" tourism and entertainment project, a collaborative endeavor with the Touristic Enterprises Company, Zain, Kuwait International Bank, and SHeeeL Company. The project aims to cater to all age groups with its comprehensive services.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister Al-Mutairi expressed optimism about the future, highlighting the importance of accumulated experience and institutional memory in achieving success. He mentioned that the "Visit Kuwait" platform offers information about events, tourist sites, and available services. The minister emphasized the importance of partnerships with the private sector and civil society to maintain quality and organization in events and festivals.
The "Visit Kuwait" platform team is dedicated to ensuring quality standards for events presented by private companies, initiatives, or government bodies. Minister Al-Mutairi assured that Kuwait is well-prepared to face future challenges through collaborations with government and private entities, aiming to attract international events like the World Padel Championship and the French Super Cup.
He also discussed major agreements with leading companies in various sectors, emphasizing the role of enhancing tourism standards and applying World Tourism Organization criteria. The government is committed to supporting local and international companies, seeking to benefit from their expertise and localize successful models in Kuwait through partnerships.
The KLand Project features an open area for cafes, restaurants, and shops with free entry, including national youth brands and seaside seating for 172 people. It also offers a games zone with all-inclusive tickets, an outdoor activity area, a VIP lounge, and participation by Kuwaiti youth projects, showcasing the private sector's role in supporting national initiatives.
