Kuwait city: Kuwait’s men Padel team defeated Indonesia (2-1) on Sunday in the first Asia Padel Cup (Qatar 2025) in Doha. The Kuwaiti women’s team also outrivaled their Bahraini counterparts 3-0.
According to Kuwait News Agency, with this result, the men’s team qualified for the main group stage of the championship, having earned four points after winning against the teams of Bahrain and Indonesia. However, the women’s team failed to advance to the same stage as it had lost its first match against Indonesia 3-0 on Friday.
Kuwait’s men’s team will play tomorrow, Monday, against the host Qatar in a group that also includes Pakistan and Australia.
