Kuwait Justice Minister Highlights Arab League’s Humanitarian Law Committee Project

Kuwait city: Kuwait Minister of Justice and Chairman of the National Permanent Committee on International Humanitarian Law in Kuwait, Nasser Al-Sumait, announced that the Arab League Council of Ministers' unanimous adoption of the establishment of the Permanent Arab Committee represents a significant milestone for joint Arab action.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Sumait expressed his appreciation for Qatar's initiative and the efforts of the Arab League Secretariat, congratulating Qatar on its leading role in achieving this accomplishment. He emphasized that this development marks a forward step in enhancing joint Arab cooperation in the realm of humanitarian law.

Al-Sumait reiterated Kuwait's commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at bolstering the protection of human rights and reinforcing the principles of international humanitarian law.
