Kuwait city: The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Traffic Department, has announced that trucks will be restricted from using main roads beginning September 1, 2025, through June 14, 2026. This decision is aimed at managing traffic flow and minimizing congestion during peak hours.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the ban will be in effect during two specific time slots each day: from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., local time. The ministry's statement emphasized that these measures are part of ongoing efforts to regulate traffic and ensure smoother commutes for all road users during the busiest parts of the day.
