Kuwait Interior Minister Concludes Visits to US and France


Kuwait city: The First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, along with his delegation, has returned to Kuwait after official visits to the United States of America and the Republic of France. Sheikh Fahad Yusuf’s visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the security sector, and fostering coordination in combating crime and terrorism.



According to Kuwait News Agency, during his time in Washington, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf engaged in discussions with senior officials about enhancing ties in various fields, with an emphasis on security matters. The meetings aimed at fortifying cooperation in efforts to combat crime and terrorism.



In France, the Minister conducted talks with security officials and visited the Interpol headquarters. Discussions centered on cooperation, information exchange, expertise sharing, and training in modern technology. Upon his return, Sheikh Fahad Yusuf was received at Kuwait International Airport by Acting Interior Undersecretary Major General Ali-Aladwani and other security chiefs.
