Kuwait Info. Min. Commends UAE’s Great Media Potential

Kuwait City: Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi highlighted the UAE's significant human and technological media capabilities, attributing them to dedicated efforts and strategic planning. The statement was made as he welcomed Sheikh Abdullah Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, during his visit to Kuwait for the Arab Media Forum and the 28th meeting of GCC information ministers.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Mutairi emphasized the visit as a testament to the fruitful media cooperation between Kuwait, the UAE, and other GCC countries, which he described as a model for pan-Arab media collaboration. The minister praised the UAE's media progress and strategic vision, noting its foundation on professionalism and innovation.

He further expressed his pleasure in welcoming the UAE as a guest of honor at the Arab Media Forum, a recognition of the UAE's significant stature in the Arab media landscape and its impactful role in fostering cultural and ideological dialogue. Al-Mutairi noted that the forum underscores the UAE's contribution to developing meaningful media content.

The minister also highlighted the importance of the GCC information ministers' meeting, which aims to enhance regional media coordination and drive forward media efforts for greater integration and cooperation. This, he said, is crucial for addressing regional issues and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

Al-Mutairi reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to strengthening its media partnership with the UAE, driven by the belief in media's role in building societal awareness and promoting shared Gulf and Arab values.
