Kuwait Hosts 15th International Invention Fair Under Patronage of Crown Prince

Kuwait City: The 15th International Invention Fair in the Middle East is set to commence in Kuwait on Sunday, receiving the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. This event is anticipated to gather inventors and innovators from across the region to showcase their latest technological advancements and creative solutions. According to Kuwait News Agency, a variety of significant developments are taking place in Kuwait and beyond. In Dubai, the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan met with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah during the World Government Summit. Meanwhile, in Munich, Germany, the 61st Munich Security Conference is addressing global challenges and promoting stability, as emphasized by Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. In cultural news, UNESCO has recognized Kuwait's contributions to Arab culture and its efforts in promoting peace and prosperity, affirming its worthiness as a cultural capital. Additionally, Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has expressed the country's intentions to strengthen strategic relations with China across various sectors. On the humanitarian front, Kuwait has continued its aid efforts by sending the 24th plane with 10 tons of food to Syria as part of a national campaign. The Kuwait Medical Association has also launched the Balsam campaign to support the health sector in Gaza by providing medical equipment and enhancing healthcare facilities. The Sixth Arab Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, led by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, concluded with the adoption of the Kuwait Declaration for Disaster Risk Reduction. This declaration aims to enhance regional cooperation in minimizing disaster risks. In economic developments, OPEC has forecasted an increase in demand for OPEC+ oil by 2025, projecting a rise of 100,000 barrels per day to reach 42.6 million bpd. Meanwhile, Kuwait's focus on tourism is highlighted by Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi's appointment as president of the UN World Tourism Organization Regional Commission for the Middle East, aligning with Kuwait Vision 2025 to diversify national income sources and promote sustainable development. In regional politics, Egypt's President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II have stressed the urgency of reconstructing Gaza without displacing its people, emphasizing the region's commitment to stability and humanitarian efforts.
