Kuwait Hospital Achieves Record with 30 Renal Transplants in August

Kuwait city: Kuwait's state-owned Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital carried out 30 successful kidney transplant procedures during August in a medical achievement announced by the Ministry of Health.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this latest figure has outnumbered the usual monthly record of roughly 17 renal transplants, which reflects the health system's capability of expanding complicated and critical services with high efficiency, the ministry said in a press release on Monday.

This medical accomplishment also shows the ministry's commitment to promoting Kuwait's status in the field of transplanting human organs and augmenting specialized medical services, it added.

The record figure of kidney transplants is deemed the fruit of integrated national efforts exerted by Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital's different departments and pioneering medical centers, the ministry noted.

It also commended this achievement as an additional step towards Kuwait's endeavor to establish its position as a pioneering regional medical hub within the framework of Kuwait Vision 2035.
